Obituary for Winfield Bennett

Winfield Bennett, 79, of Scott passed away Wednesday February 15, 2012 at Cortland Regional Medical Center. Born in Syracuse, he worked for the Eibert Farm for 46 years. Winfield loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years the former Joyce Lader; daughter Wendie (Joseph) O'Hora of Scranton, PA.; son Russell (Michelle) Bennett of Spafford; grandchildren Lindsey, Eric and Megan O'Hora, Joshua and Shannan Bennett; sisters Dorothy Fitzgerald of Lowville, Marguerite Troup of Howlett Hill and Connie McCue of Ogdensburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 5 p.m. Sunday February 19, 2012 at the Plis Funeral Home. Friends and family may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
