Obituary for Yvonne L. Schreiber (Eibert)
Yvonne L. Schreiber, 80 of Skaneateles went to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 2, 2021. She was born in 1940 to Tobias and Hattie Eibert.
She lived most of her life in Skaneateles raising her family and her two cats. She loved reading, knitting and crocheting, gardening, cooking and baking. She also loved going to garage sales with her husband. She was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She graduated from Tully high school. She was raised on a farm in Otisco, where she loved to go and visit the area and had so many stories to tell about her childhood. She always put others first before herself. She will be dearly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years John, her daughter Joy Alaniz and grandson Cody Schreiber. Surviving are her children Scott (Penny), Chris (Sherry), Mark and Steven Schreiber. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren, and siblings Carl and Bruce Eibert and Brenda Namie.
Calling hours will be from 10 am-12 noon on Saturday March 6, at Rose Hill Baptist Church, 2609 Rose Hill Road, Marietta, NY. Services will be private for the family. She will be buried in the spring in Thorn Hill Cemetery.
