Obituary for Bernie Walczyk

Bernard T. (Bernie) Walczyk, 68, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on June 12, 2018. Bernie was a native of Auburn, the son of the late Maximillian and Mary Trojnar Walczyk. He was a 1968 graduate of Auburn West High School, and a member of Polish Falcons Nest 74 in Auburn. He has lived in Phoenix since 1971, and was self employed.
Bernie is survived by his sister Joanne (Joan) Anthony of Beckley, WV, a nephew Daniel (Joanna) Anthony of Jamesville, NY, great nephew, John R. Anthony of Beckley, WV, several cousins and longtime friend, Ed Sylvis of Phoenix, AZ. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife of 32 years Gayle Peters Walczyk, and his brother Jerome.
A memorial service will be held at the Calvary Memorial Church in Phoenix at the convenience of the family and church clergy. Services and burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Auburn will be held at a later date.
