Earline W Hall, 95, of Marcellus passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 1st, 2019. She was a warm, caring southern hospitality driven lady. Her love of card games, puzzles, quilts, Lawrence Welk, and romance novels made her exquisite. She loved her family and always enjoyed lasagna night. Born in Florence, Alabama, she moved to New York by her husband Hubert. Earline was a stay at home mom for 3 loving children and was an avid gardener and quilter. She was a founding member of the United Methodist Church Gift & Thrift Shop. She was predeceased by her husband Hubert Hall in 2008, she is survived by her children, Pat (Gary) Sposato-Jaron, Thomas (Elizabeth) Hall, and Karen Presher-Sica. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Laura (Joshua) Romanowicz, Susanna Sica, Joseph Sica, and great grandchildren Cody Romanowicz & Orianna Romanowicz).

Dear Tom,
Having returned late yesterday from 3 weeks in Savannah, GA, we only just learned of your Mother’s passing. After more than 50 years, I still retain fond memories of trying to understand her genteel “drawl”, and her kindness. We are deeply sorry for your loss. Very best wishes,
Steve & Nancy Martin.

So sorry for your loss. It was great to have Earline and Hugh as our neighbors on Meadow St and worship with them at the United Methodist Church. I remember Earline wearing a big hat when she worked in her garden. She had such a wonderful southern charm about her. For my High School graduation, they gave me a very nice Cross pen that I used to sign my first employment papers after college graduation and that I still use today some 35 years later! A very thoughtful and cherished gift from dear friends and neighbors.

Dear Tom D. Hall and family,
My sympathy is with you at this time of change. We are all going through it at this point in life.
I remember your father playing in the Skaneateles community band for years. You also played
in the band in high school.
Peace be with you all.

Thank You Russell for your kind words. And yes I believe you played the trombone in the band.
