I send my deepest sympathy to Joy's loving family and friends and all others, like I, who had the privilege to know her. I was Kaitlyn's 3rd grade teacher and so admired the love, support and care Joy and the family gave to Kaitlyn. Joy's sweet, calm, loving nature was evident always. Once, Kait came to shool in "an outfit" of her own choosing, perhaps for a holiday, I don't recall. It was a unique ensemble, but Kait was happy and Joy said something profound, " this is an area where she can get to choose what she wants and I let her decide." I was always so impressed with what a wonderful mom she was to Kait and all of her other children. I am so shocked and saddened by her sudden passing on and send my heartfelt concern to all of you who are left to carry on. She surely was a role model of what a loving parent should be. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Joy was always happy to decorate for our church fellowship dinners and did a beautiful job! She was loved by her church family and will be greatly missed.
