I am so sad to read this. My mother Sally and I worked with Rita and Jeff at P&C. She was a tough lady but deep down as sweet as could be. I was literally just thinking about her a week or so ago. I found a picture of a doll that my mother made for Rita. It was a African American doll made out of cloth. It is the only one my mom ever made. Rita was that special that mom never made any others, not even for me. I was wondering when I found the picture if Rita still had it. I hadnt thought about it in years. It is so ironic how things happen. To the family please accept my dearest condolences. Vicki Broekhuizen

I love all my aunts & uncles, but Aunt Rita was special. Her tough exterior was masking a sweet soul, and her sense of humor could win you over in a heartbeat. I'm grateful that she didn't suffer for long, but I'm saddened that I'll never see her again. I'll forever cherish the memories of her........Bless you Aunt Rita.
